Hi Windie,

So sorry that I haven't been in touch in such a long time.  I think of you often and hope you and your family are doing well.  What can I say about my boy Cody?  He is an amazing little guy and we just can't get enough of him.  Every night my husband I look at him lying on our bed and can't believe how lucky we are to have him.  He is the most mellow, loving, well-behaved dog in the world.  He puts a smile on my face everyday.  Recently, my daughter had a party and her theme was Legally Blonde.  We took pictures of her and cody for the decorations and I thought you might like to see them.  The one in this e-mail is only of Cody.  I will send another e-mail with the one with my daughter (my e-mail can't send both for some reason).

Well, have a wonderful holiday and happy new year to you, your family and all the new little doggies!!

Love,
Lisa

We just adopted a Cavapoo puppy from Calla Lilly Cavaliers.  We met Windie at the airport (nanny transport) last Tuesday -- which I highly recommend.  The puppies stay with Windie as a carry-on.  The flight to us was delayed 2-1/2 hours, so we were happy the puppy was with her.  Our puppy, Holly, is the sweetest thing!

Windie is wonderful!  She is always available by e-mail for all our questions (we are first time puppy owners).  She is very informative with all the needs and suggestions for new puppies.  She is very organized, right down to the vaccination sheets provided with the puppies.  We took Holly to our vet here and he was very happy with her vaccination record.  She is very healthy and clean.  He said you could tell she was well cared for and handled well because she was so good natured.  He said it's important for puppies to be touched and handled so that they are comfortable with people.  It's only been a week, but Holly has settled in with us quite easily.  It was also nice that Windie begins crate training with the puppies because it made the transition so much easier.  Holly knows to go outside - we didn't need to do much to "train" her.  We did hang a bell at her nose level by the door.  We ring it every time we take her out so that she'll learn to ring the bell when she needs to go out.  She is very comfortable in her crate at night.  Windie said she may whine or wimper at first because she'll be missing her siblings, but she didn't.  We placed the crate in my daughter's bedroom where she could see her and she didn't make any fuss whatsoever!  I take her out first thing in the morning and she's great!

I would certainly recommend Calla Lilly Cavaliers to you.  Windie is a gem.  You will receive a puppy that has had lots of attention, care and loving during its first weeks of life -- setting the stage for a well adjusted and happy dog who is well on it's way to easy training -- which makes everyone happy!

I wish you much happiness with your new puppy.

Hello Windie,
I wanted you to know that though we have only had your "Molly" our Casey for now going on 6 days, we all agree that she is much more fun and lovable than we ever expected!  She has wrapped us all around her little paw and we adore her!  There have been many of our friends who have met her and quickly claim that she is the kind of puppy they would all love to have.  Both laid back and playful, good natured, easy to love and smart, she continues to amaze us!  Thank you for all you did to infuse her with love and a gentle nature!

hugs to you

Hi Windie - I just wanted to thank you for the time and effort you put into your little puppies before they leave you.  Our veterinarian was impressed as well.  As you know, we picked up "Sugar" on Friday and she has been such a delight ever since.  She is happy and eager to please...slept through the night on her first night here (of course she had a 10 year old sleeping next to her!) and was passed from person to person over the Easter weekend.  She is so sweet and playful and all of us just love her!  Even our 13 year old Lab is slowly coming around!  Again, thank you...and, rest assured, Sugar is good hands and loved by all!

Hi Windie,
We are just in love with Tweety! He is the sweetest dog we have ever seen! Everywhere we go people ask about him and say they have never seen such a cute dog! One thing I was going to ask you is: he goes #2 about 6 or 7 times a day. Is this normal for these guys? Thank you so much for everything. He acts like he has been a part of the family forever! Also, how is your sister in law. We have all of you in our prayers.

On the Maggie front what a sweet baby girl. We are still working on pottying outside. She has had about one accident per day but she will get it soon I am sure as now she knows that the spot we take her to in the yard means potty time. She went to the quilt store with me today while Shelby was at the movie. She was so tired she feel asleep on the cutting table with her head on a bolt of fabric. She moved her head a tiny bit and this women remarked that she thought she was a toy not our sweet big girl. Shots are scheduled for this coming Saturday. She and Meshach are getting along great. They are so funny when they play together. So that's about it. Thanks for checking on us. Hope all is well with your sister in law. Blessings!

She has stolen our hearts! We are also learning lots of patience, with lots of laughs.  The KISS Puppy book is really good.  She slept in her crate on nite 2, only whimpering 3 times! Nites 3 and 4 , only 1 time!  If only I had bought and read the book before nite 1 – she slept with me on the couch that nite!!!  Mary Gayle

Dear Windie,        I hope all is well.  Your website looks great.  Love those videos!!!  Today was Cody'a first birthday.  I can't believe he already a year old and has been with us for 9 months.  He is the best, well behaved dog.  He had a busy day.  We had a little party with some of his friends, so he is pooped now!!  I am attaching a picture of Cody and his friends.  The dogs are sitting on the laps of thier owners (actually the kids).  I thought you would enjoy seeing it.  He is such a happy guy and so are we!!!
Thank you again and again for Cody,

Happy New Year Windie!
Been meaning to write you sooner to send you these photos of Roscoe taken last December.  I apologize for the large file size and hope you’re able to download them okay.  Roscoe is doing great – he’s mellowed out some since turning 1.5 yrs old, but that may because most of his energy is consumed on his 2-3 hour daily walks, so when I come home from work, he’s like “ah yeah, hi!”.  J      But he’s always there to greet me at the door upon my return.  And he’s still as sweet and loving as he was when we first got him - we just adore and love him so much!  He loves to cuddle on our lap and still follows us (me mostly) everywhere. J  Sean gets a kick out of it when he can sense Roscoe doesn’t want to be let down after being held.  He also is well trained but Sean complains he listens more to me that he does to him Ha-ha.  He can even pee on command with “Roscoe, go potty” which comes in handy.
I saw you changed the format of your website – looks great!  We still get people routinely asking us where we got Roscoe and usually point them to your website for more information.  Just last weekend, I met an owner of a black and white cavachon who is a little smaller than Roscoe but had similar face.  The lady was thinking of getting a second dog and really loved Roscoe’s look. She was also impressed with how well behaved and trained he was while we were at the park playing fetch – one of his favorite games!  Oh yeah, last we weighed him – he’s now at 20 lbs and we think this is where he’ll remain into adulthood.
Looks like you’re keeping busy, your Feb. liter is gorgeous – so many reds!  And speaking of red, Roscoe has developed ruby cheeks/sideburns around his muzzle, it seemed to have happened overnight.  So cute!
Here’s wishing you and your family a blessed New Year with better weather conditions than last year!

Angie

Hi Windie, long time between chats.   Milo has grown into a wonderful little man. He is so sweet tempered and playful with just the right amount of mommy-attachment. No momma's boy is he! He loves being outside regardless of the weather and he happily gets to play with his bffs Mocha and Torry all the time. I am thinking of enrolling him in good citizen training and then looking into his becoming a therapy dog. He now weighs just under 20 pounds and his coloring is beautifully brindled. We adore him! Hope all is well with your family and we wish you a joyful and abundant new year.
Peace,
Joan

Windie, Brent, Hunter and River-

Hello from Shelby and Clinton in MO.  We are just writing to let you know how happy we are with our puppy Bella [ formerly Betsy] born April 27 ,2008 from Hollie.  Things are just going wonderful!!  Bella just turned 8 months old and is the sweetest, best dog anyone could ask for.  She is the perfect balance of playful and lap dog which is exactly what my husband and I wanted.  Bella weighs approximately 10 pounds so far, she was the smallest of her litter, and definitely has a no-shed coat.  She is a joy to be around and has absolutely everyone in our family, including us, smitten.  She caught on very quickly to potty training and hasn't had an accident in months.  We have been working with her on tricks and it is already apparent how smart she is, she can sit, stay, lay down, shake, and do a very cute trick we call big beg where she jumps up and dances on her back legs while begging with her paws.  She is a total people person dog and is our little shadow anytime we are at home.

Windie, I have recommended you to a number of people when they ask where Bella came from. I think you do a wonderful job as a breeder and how well Bella is doing is a direct reflection of your love and care over her first 10 weeks.  We thank you so much for such a wonderful addition to our family.  We have attached some pictures from Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.  Please feel free to use this in the reference section of your website if you want.  We hope the new year finds you and your family blessed and happy!!

Love,
Clint, Shelby, and Bella

Hi Windie,

I'm so glad you enjoyed the card/picture!  I'll try to hook up the camera and send you more!

Yes, Tess' coat is amazing.  It is as soft as can be - not "wirey" or coarse.  She's soft like...hmmm, hard to describe...maybe cashmere?  Just fluffy and wonderful.  Yes, the girls LOVE her.  They are constantly hugging her and giving her attention.  It's a great distraction for them!  Tess has added so much to our lives!  We always talk about you, and how much you care for your dogs, and how much we appreciate what you do!  We wouldn't be surprised if we added another of your pups to our family in a few years.  It has been a wonderful experience.

Tess is about 20 pounds now.  We'll check her weight in 2 months when she turns one!

We wish you and your family a happy, healthy New Year!  All the best!
Heidi

Hi Windie,

I hope you and your family are all well!  We are freezing in NY.  It has gotten a bit warmer, but it's colder than normal.

Tess is doing great!  We all love her so much!  She's so happy, healthy, playful, curious and smart - so much like a little person - without the moodiness!  She's laid back, and great with the girls (so patient); it's like she's always been a part of our family.  The funniest thing is how she gets so excited when we get home, even if we've only been gone for 20 minutes.  You'd think we'd been gone for years!  She jumps, snorts, wags her tails and gives kisses (and of course, has a little accident!)  We've learned to open the door to the crate and then quickly run outside for our greeting!!!

Thanks for a wonderful puppy!  Tess is 9 and 1/2 months old, and she must be close to 20 pounds.  We found a great groomer who keeps her hair at a manageable length.  Her coat is sooooo soft!  We just hug her and hug her.

I will learn to hook my digital camera up to the computer and send you some pictures - by Christmas, I promise.

In the mean time, have a great Thanksgiving with your family!

Your friend,
Heidi

Hi Windie

As I write this email it is snowing and we are getting ready for a New Years celebration.

Speaking of snow
..Lucie loves the snow!!! She is almost 6 months old
and has become a major part of our family.
Our life practically revolves around her.
As a matter of fact, we just returned from a long weekend in
DC to visit family.
We drove with her from New York and stayed in a pet friendly hotel. She did great!

Lucie is a VERY friendly puppy. She loves all people and other dogseven the golden retrievers in the neighborhood. She graduated from puppy kindergarten and my younger daughter has taught her to sit, give paw, fetch and roll over.
Lucie will be spayed in 2 weeks and then we will have her officially groomed.
However, no short, butchered haircuts for Lucie
.
I have attached a recent photo.  Please feel free to share on your website (which is great, by the way).

Happy New Year!

Best,
Felicia

Hi Windie,
We are all doing well, I've been very busy with the gift shop and with my new baby, Gracie!
She is just precious, doing pretty well with potty training, is eating well, had her 1st vet checkup last week and passed with flying colors!  She is also doing well with adjusting to our other dogs.  She has bonded so well with our 60+ lb springer spaniel.  Her name is Abbie and she lets Gracie pull on her hair, her ears, and they play chase and she even lets Gracie walk over her back and lays next to her a lot.  Gracie is pretty independent and a little hard headed at times but I think she gets that from me.  I'll send pics later, right now I have a cold and feel blahhhh.

Hope all is well with youl
Thanks for everything she is a dream come true.
Thanks, Robin

Hi Windie-

I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos!  I hope that you and your family had a nice Thanksgiving!

Winston and I traveled to Colorado for the holidays!  He is doing wonderful...my parents have fallen in love, and I gave your name to 4 people on the plane!  I actually got bumped up to first class because of Winston, they thought he was so cute that they put me in first class, isn't that hilarious!
So, I got the open crate as the trainer I am using suggested it.  Winston seems to love it, he is doing wonderful in the crate.  I don't cover it at night and he has a white towel in there and has not made any mistakes.  He is really almost potty trained, i am SO impressed!  We don't use piddle pads, as i told you, they just aren't my thing, and I'm with him enough to take him out constantly.  We even got him a sweater so that he wouln't shake every time we went out...haha..too much fun!
My parents do have the kennel cab that you suggested, as do I,  and he does well in there too.  We still have the blanket you gave to us, and it travels with him.  He is really so sweet.  He's loves to cuddle and really loves walking on the leash!  He is SO YUMMY, and has made me and so many of us so happy!  He is very social and has many doggie friends.  He spent Thanksgiving with 6 other dogs, and he played mostly with a black lab puppy...Winston thought he was just as big, it was so cute!  I was a protective Mommie, but I tried to hold back and let him have fun!

I will continue to send pics!

best,
Lauren

Hi Windie
I hope all is well with you.  I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with Gabby!  She's everything you said she'd be.  If she's not busy being playful and spunky, she's snuggling up.  We couldn't be any happier!  She seems to be making quite an impression on everyone that meets her.  I've given your name out to so many people that have fallen in love with her.

I understand that my next door neighbors are talking with you about getting 2 cavapoos from you!  How wonderful that will be for Gabby!
I wanted to let you know that I have also given your name to a few others, some woman I met at the post office, my friend ............, my friend ........will be contacting you as well.  So, there will be no homeless cavapoos for sure, although we both know that never happens with these puppies!!

I am trying to get a good holiday card picture and I'll send you one for sure, the boys would love to have their picture with Gabby on your site with our testimonial so feel free to use the text above (without the second paragraph with the names, of course to protect other people's privacy).

Thanks for the stocking and goodies.  He is  so cute playing with that ball and even brings it to you most of the time.

So, I have one question..Winston did have a parasite and I'm treating him for 15 days with a liquid that I put in his mouth.  He seems to be happy and feeling ok.  I notice that going poo is a little difficult, he tries pretty hard to push one out..and usually takes a little while.  So, in regard to this, he still isn't hardly eating...about how much should i expect him to eat?  I stopped giving the wet food right when you said, but I want to make sure he's eating.  If you wouldn't mind letting me know what you think, i would really appreciate it!

I look forward to hearing from you and I will continue to send pics!

best,
Lauren

Hi Windie & Brent,

It's impossible to put into words just how in love we are with this little guy ! ! ! !

We keep forgetting that Farnsworth has only been with us for just two days ! He's already figured out the apartment  layout; claimed his favorite spots; he recognizes our building and pulls me to the door at the end of our walks and knows his pathway through the lobby and to our apartment, just like he's an old timer!

Highlights ................
- He's been sleeping though the nights in his crate next to our bed with no problems.
- absolutely knows his name and comes instantly !
- Sits on command about 98% .... "Stay", not so great yet, but he's getting the idea !
- a few piddles inside, but we feel he's doing very well in the housebreaking dept. and we're starting to recognize his cues ( today he actually sat and stared at
the front door until I took him out )
- he is distracted by the sounds and activity of the city sidewalks , but even sudden loud noises are quickly forgotten, so he's going to adapt easily and quickly ,
He's not really frightened, just curious and trying to take it all in.

He will be neutered and chipped right after New Years and we're all signed up for puppy kindergarten classes starting the first week in Dec.

Every walk takes longer because at least one person (or more) stops to gush and ask what kind of dog he is, and Farnsworth just plays it to the hilt being impossibly cute and friendly !  We are already certain that we have a very special dog ! ! !

Thank You so much, we'll keep in touch,

Phillip & John

Hi Windie,

A quick word to say it was wonderful to meet you and collect Rufus today.

I'm writing this now (with Rufus sound asleep on my lap) to hopefully spare you even one second's worry. Ru did AMAZINGLY well on the ride home. For a little guy who had already had a big day, he was in remarkable form. No sickness at all. He was curious at first, poking up to look out the window (and making a grab with his teeth for my hoop earring and tugging rather mightily for a small thing). Later, he slept on my lap, stretching himself for a belly-scratch as he woke.

Since arriving home, he's been a delight and quite at ease. Patty (who drove me) immediately asked if her husband, Michael, could meet Ru, and your beautiful pooch responded by jumping into Michael's lap and kissing his cheek. He charmed everyone.

At my house since about 3:30, Rufus has been happy and adorable -- showing LOTS of personality and playfulness. He and I have alternated between playing and quiet time, according to his needs. We played in the yard with the autumn leaves, which he loves to chase and crunch, and he loved playing tug-of-war with the bully stick you so thoughtfully packed in his stocking. He licked up another bit of FastTrack gel, and around 5:30 p.m. ate a healthy portion of his NutriSource cereal and drank a good amount of water. I took him outside immediately after his dinner, and he proved well on the way to being housebroken. (Not sure we'll keep such a spotless record, but it was a very promising start.)

Ru whimpered only when I put him into his gated area, so I took him out and kept him with me. Tonight, for sleep, I'll try him in his crate in my bedroom, but if he cries, I'll put him in the Sherpa bag on the bed and see how we do with that.

We're off to the vet tomorrow, and I'll send you a report, but from the way he's appeared all day, there is not one thing to worry about. Nose to tail, Rufus is a WONDERFUL little guy and a credit to your care and good breeding techniques.

Hope your flight home is lots less bumpy. I'll stay in touch and send pictures as soon as I can.

Very best,
Deb

Windie,
Hi Windie!  I haven't given you an update in months, and thought I'd drop you a line.  I was just playing with Brody, the Cavapoo previously known as Ryan, and it made me think of you.  As you will recall, we met in Rolla MO last December so I could surprise my girls with the puppy for Christmas.  We enjoy him soooo much.  He turned 1 on October 15th, and is healthy and happy.  He weighs between 11 and 12 pounds.  His coloring has definitely changed.  Unfortunately, he didn't keep much of the Phantom coloring except on his ears and tail.  But, that has been the only disappointment.  He is sweet, good natured, healthy, smart, loves to be held . . . I could go on and on.  My three daughters all love him to pieces and couldn't be happier.
Thanks so much for this wonderful puppy, Windie!
I hope everything is going well with you and your family, and wish you a healthy, happy Thanksgiving!

Windie,

Sorry it's been such a long time!  Our little Chloe is doing very well.  She just turned 1 and is still the joy of the house.
We just love having her!

Everytime that we can recommend you as a breeder of these great dogs we do.
She comes everywhere with us and get so many compliments.  Twice a week she goes to "doggy daycare"
to play with other dogs and was voted the best dog there by one of the employees.

I have sent a recent picture of her for you to see. We can't believe how big she has gotten from her
3 lbs when you first delivered her to us!

Hope all is going well.  Take care...

Hi Windie,

We just returned from a walk with Babe and Max is sleeping at my feet right now.

The documents were right where you put them... sorry I wasn't paying attention.

All is going wonderfully well here in _____.  Max was an absolute sweetie throughout the whole trip.

He had a "big boy" BM while  at Tulsa Airport and we stayed on the grass there for over an hour so he

could play and stretch.  He wasn't thrilled about getting back in the carrier but after about 30 seconds of

whimpering he settled right in and was great.

Our flights were on time and we took over a corner in a large restroom in Dallas/FW airport and he played

with his toys and tried to chew my toes while we passed the time waiting for the flight.  He didn't go

to the bathroom at all.  I was wishing I had one of those pee pads with me to put down, the ones that

are scented to encourage them to go on it but I didn't need it... yeah!  He went potty outside as soon as he got home

and then slept through the night in his crate with no accidents.  We had one accident today because I was sweeping the floor

and missed his cue.  Otherwise, he's been excellent about going potty as soon as I take him outside.

If I stay totally present over the next week, I think we will have the potty training complete.  We go to puppy class on Tuesday
I'll let you know how it goes.

He and Babe are doing okay.  She's not overly thrilled about having a dog mate but she's being reasonably good about it.

They walk well together because Max chases after her until he gets pooped out and then he stops and looks at me as if to say,

"I can't walk anymore" and I pick him up.  I haven't had two dogs for a long time so I'm being reminded that it's like having
two children
who are vying for my attention.  She doesn't like it when he jumps on her and wants to play but I have to remember
that this is all new
and she is about 7 years old.

Max won't let me out of his sight.  When I took Babe for a long walk this morning, he looked all over for me and whimpered
and then settled down by Bob and watched the door.

We are absolutely thrilled.  Can't wait to see photos of the new puppies.

Many thanks for your loving care of our little guy,
Valerie

Cooper with his new family!

Hi Windie,

Yes, my kids are very happy with Cooper. We take him everywhere and people love him.

We’re glad we waited until the kids were older to get a dog. They are really taking good care of him.

Yes, you may use the picture of the kids and the dog on your website.

We would like to request that our name not be used, but you can use Cooper’s name.

In the future, you can also use me as a reference for potential puppy owners.

We’ve had a great experience working with you and I hope you continue to provide happy puppies
for families.

Have a great day!!!

Cooper's new family!

Dear Windie,

My husband and I are empty nesters with a need to travel.
The wonderful thing is that we travel mostly by RV and when we fly, we have kids nearby that take care of our pet(s).
I never had the opportunity to pick my ideal pet until now.  I was introduced to the Cava-Poo breed by a cousin, and I fell hard.
For six years I waited until the time was right for us to bring another pet into our lives.

When I talked to you in February I thought it was for an introduction not an adoption,
since we had just started a travel season that was not conducive to a new puppy.
Again, the word "puppy" we weren't even sure if we wanted the responsibility of a newborn.
Thank you for the perfect solution!  You had a five-month old puppy that was just what we wanted, but alas,
I didn't want to bring a puppy home and then leave it with someone else to bond with,
you said you would keep her for two-more months
and do all the things that needed to be done, spay, shots, get her used to her new name... and now, we have our angel.
Gracie is a wonderful addition to our family and she will be taking off with us in two weeks for a summer of fun in the RV.

It took her a day to settle in and find her footing, day two she was becoming part of the family, and day three, she's running the show.
Gracie has lots of energy, yet she's a lap dog, what a marvelous combination and the sweetest personality to boot.
I can tell that she is part clown and will keep us laughing for years to come.
I took her to the groomer and the vet on the second day and both women went ape over our new baby.
They were so impressed with her coat, teeth, but mostly, her personality.

We can't thank you enough for making this such a easy and painless transition.
If you ever need a reference, I'm your girl and a huge fan.
Best of luck with your business and when people ask, and I know they will, I'll send them straight to you,

Sincerely,
Lynn Corrigall

Hi Windie

So sorry we havent emailed you sooner.  Couscous is doing great!
We are so in love with her.  We seriously believe that she is the cutest puppy
in all of DC - everyone stops on their tracks to play with her.
Her behavior has been getting better and better every day.
We couldnt ask for more.  When we first got her, she was just under 6 lbs,
and now, she is 10 lbs!  Such a big puppy!  We absolutely love her!

We're attaching some pictures so you can have them.
We'll email you soon with more updates, but thanks so much for giving us
our dream puppy.

All the best,
Shannon and Scott

Hi Windie, here's how good she is...my in-laws were visiting
and my sister-in-law is allergic to dogs and cats.  She showed
no interest in Ruby and wouldn't touch her even though Ruby
was constantly going up to her for attention.  By the end of their stay,
she had no allergic reaction and she was petting her
and saying if she got a dog it would be just like her!
Her kids were asking for a dog like Ruby.

Talk soon,
Sandra

Windie, don't worry about Ruby because I think she is progressing normally.
I am expecting it to take awhile before she has no accidents as a norm in the house.
I thought the potty training has been going well.  If she goes, it's usually that I missed her cue.
We don't encourage the tug of war play because I love that she doesn't bark much
and my boys don't like when she gets too playful and nippy.
Her 'Cujo' stage is her way of telling me she needs to go out
or is restless and needs to go for a walk or run.  I'm not worried about this
and I don't want you to worry either.  She is sooo good with kids.
We had a 2yr old girl over yesterday and she was laying flat on her back
as Ruby gave her kisses all over her face and the little girl was laughing and squealing.
My friend was amazed how good Ruby was with her and not nipping at her as her daughter squealed.

Did I tell you she can sit and shake now?  She picks up commands really easily.
So, don't worry or misunderstand my last email.  We totally love her
and think she is soooo loving and gentle.  Everyone who comes to the house
cannot believe how quiet she is.  I love that about her because I didn't want a barky dog.
I'll send a picture soon because she has really grown.
Have a great day,
Sandra

 Hi Windie,

Here are some pictures of Squirtie. The pics don't do her justice,

since it's her personality that's awesome. She's really laid back.

When I took a pic of her falling in the crack of the couch,

I moved the pillows she was laying on to take the picture.

She was completely content there.

Anyway, she's a great little dog and you'll have to see her again soon.

Hope you're warmly snuggled in today!

Sarah :)

Subject: Windie Sturges

Good morning. My name is Claire E.

and I recently purchased a puppy from Windie.

He is a dream. He came already crate trained

and has not had any accidents yet.

Windie was a pleasure to work with

and really cares about her dogs. You could tell

that our dog Bailey was well socialized with children

and very cared for. I would recommend her in a minute.

Windie flew out to New Jersey with the puppies

and was sad to see them go. I did have a few questions

and she responded immediately. If I were ever to get another puppy,

it would be from Windie. Good luck and I am sure you will not

be disappointed with one of Windie's puppies.

Feel free to contact me if you need further information

Claire

Windie,

We wanted to update you on how Sadey is doing!

She is absolutely the sweetest puppy

and exactly what Brooke was looking for in a dog.

She is sleeping through the night and potty training is coming along well.

(are we trained or is she??? at this stage it is somewhat hard to tell the difference!!

haha!)  However, yesterday she went to the door

and scratched and then turned and looked up for help -

with a successful trip outside!

She is definitely a morning dog.

She loves chasing us around the kitchen, family room and eating area circle.

(More of a morning workout for me!!)  Yesterday, Wayne was playing with her

then had to leave for work, so she came over to where I was sitting,

sat down in front of me, looked up and barked.

So I picked up where he left off in playtime!

The thing Brooke especially loves though is how Sadey loves to cuddle.

She plays and then loves to climb into a lap and snuggle.

When she goes out "visiting" she absolutely loves meeting new people.

Her little tail goes crazy.

Please use me for a reference if you would like.

I would highly recommend Calla Lily Cavaliers

and thanks so much for your patience in answering my many questions.

Merry Christmas!
Debi and family

Dear Windie

Also I forgot to thank you for all the puppy gifts that Chris brought home with him

 - she enjoys the chewing ones the most....

right now she is sleeping on the rug in the living room.

We have taken her out with us - to school, to the beach and she is a joy to everyone-

her colorings are being commented on by so many people

and so many are really interested in this breed.

Your friend

Susanne

Windie really loves and cares for her Cavalier mommies and their babies.

She was so helpful and knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with.

Any questions we had were answered promptly with an email or phone call.

Our eight week old puppy is already sleeping through the night in her crate

and has a great start on potty training.

Our puppy is very social and Windie even made sure that she was exposed to kitties

when she found out that we had one.

I would not hesitate to recommend Windie

and her CallaLilly Cavaliers to anyone who wants a happy, healthy baby!

Cynthia, June 16, 2006

Windie- I just wanted to let you know that we made it home in great shape.

Missy (I think that is what we decided her name should be)  slept about the
first two hours.  We took a potty break and she was ready to play.

I got in the back of the Suburban with her and she chewed on her toys and played
awhile, then she went right back to sleep.  What an easy trip!

We came home and she played in the back yard.  She is doing great with her potty training
and she absolutely loves the meat stick treats.  She ate a little supper and had a good drink of water.

Now she is in the playpen with her green towel.
Thanks for sending that!  I think that it will help her.

We are already absolutely in love with her and want to thank you so much for allowing us to
adopt her.  We really enjoyed getting to meet you.  I'll keep in touch.  Cynthia

Windie - I took Missy to our family vet today and she was SO impressed.

Missy is so happy, healthy and well adjusted.  She slept all night last night

and only woke up once on Sunday and Monday nights to go potty.

She is doing great.  Marty tells me that I am going to rub all of her fur off

because I hold her and pet her so much.

She is such a blessing to me.

I can barely stand to leave her.

I don't know what I'll do when school starts.

Well I thought that you'd want to know about her great check-up.

I'll be in touch!  Cynthia

My husband and I recently purchased two puppies from Windie, and couldn't be happier with them!

They're just as sweet and healthy as she promised. :) Windie is great to deal with.

Very friendly and kept us updated every step of the way.

We would have no problem recommending her to other folks looking for their puppy.  Jen, May 28, 2006

I recently bought a puppy from Calla Lily Cavaliers and I have to say

he is the most wonderful dog I could have asked for.

He had a perfect vet check from my vet and he is as smart as can be.

He is a beautiful dog and meets the ideal standard for a Cavalier.

EVERYONE stops me to see where I got him and to compliment him.

I couldn't be any happier. Melissa Hopkins

Dear Windie,

Here is a picture of Katy.  I have had her groomed once and she's just darling -

with or without her haircut.

I thought you might like to see her.

She was 4 months old on 4/13/06.

She must have been socialized before she came out of the womb.

She loves everyone and all the dogs here.

She's had all her shots now and I will have her spayed around 6 mos.

Some people have said that it's good to let them go

through one "heat" before having her spayed.

Have you heard that or does it matter?

Katy has been my life saver and is always there for me.

I love her so very much.

I hope all is well with you.  Take care.

Cora
